About You

You must:

  • Have at least 2 years of full-time experience in a design firm or small agency

  • Be fluent in PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Google Web Designer—other Adobe programs are a plus

  • Have an online portfolio with your latest work

  • Know to use the right design program for the right task

  • Be obsessively detail-oriented and able to handle criticism

  • Have good file organization skills

  • Keep files clean and organized for an easy transition when working with other designers

  • Have time management skills to work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Be able to produce print ready mechanicals for publication print advertising (magazines, newspapers), print collateral and large format printing (building banners, building wraps, bus shelters, signage), making sure all specifications are met

  • Be able to produce final optimized creative for digital assets

Job Description

You will:

  • Be part of the design process from start to completion

  • Execute concepts/campaigns across various platforms

  • Follow brand guidelines when producing new creative

  • Need to know how to maintain consistency of assets to represent a brand

  • Prepare creative presentations in PowerPoint and InDesign

  • Be responsible for producing static and animated (HTML5) digital banners

  • Complete projects both independently or in partnership with other designers and deliver final assets for print and for web

  • Monitor timelines to meet deadlines for all creative

  • Estimate the number of hours that will be needed to complete the project

  • Check on final assets from other designers to make sure they meet all specifications

  • Communicate with clients throughout the project

  • Collaborate with the project manager to seek approval from clients for all final creative

  • Communicate with outside vendors and give approval to final proofs
